The Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek begins upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon landing, you will receive a warm, traditional Nepali welcome from the Himalayan Asia Tours and Travels representatives. From the airport, you will be transferred to your luxurious 5-star hotel.

In the evening, you will meet our representatives for a welcome dinner. Savor the authentic flavors of Nepal, followed by a comprehensive briefing about your extraordinary 15-day Luxury Everest Base Camp adventure.

Unique from the standard EBC packages, you will take an exciting helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. On this exclusive journey, you will find breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan range. At the same time, you will also bypass the uncertainties of flight cancellations or delays, ensuring a quicker transfer to the foot of the world’s highest peak – Mount Everest.

Upon landing in Lukla, you will begin a gentle trek to Phakding, gradually descending through the picturesque Sherpa villages, rhododendron and pine forests, and past ancient Buddhist prayer wheels. You will trail alongside the Dudh Koshi River as you head to your premium lodge in Phakding.

From Phadking, you will head to the commercial hub of the Khumbu region, Namche Bazaar. The journey takes you across several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary suspension bridge. The path takes on a gradual ascent through pine forests, and passes charming villages like Monjo – the entry point to the Sagarmatha National Park – before reaching Namche Bazaar.

In Namche Bazaar, you will check into your luxurious lodge with modern amenities. You can also explore the vibrant hub and visit local shops, cafes, and bakeries.

Today is the first of the two strategic acclimatizations. Acclimatization stops are essential while trekking in the high-altitude Himalayan destinations as they help your body cope with the increasing elevations and significantly decrease the risks of Acute Mountain Sickness, or altitude sickness.

As a part of this strategic process, you will hike to a higher elevation point. Your guide will lead you on a short hike to the Everest View Hotel. From the hotel terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other surrounding peaks.

Alternatively, you can explore the vibrant markets in Namche, enjoy coffee a a local bakery, or simply relax at your premium accommodation.

From Namche, you will traverse along the wide path, trailing alongside Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Today’s journey takes on a descent to the Dudh Koshi River at Phuki Tenga, and crosses a suspension bridge before taking on a significant ascent through rhododendron and pine forests. The trail leads you to Tengboche, home to the ancient Tengboche Monastery. Take some time to visit this spiritual site and witness Buddhist rituals before heading to your overnight destination in Deboche.

Prepare to enter the high-altitude landscape of the Khumbu region as you trek from Deboce to Dingboche. The journey takes you through lush rhododend forests and across several small communities. Along the journey, you will cross the Imja Khola, a glacial river, and head to one of the oldest Sherpa villages, Pangboche. As you reach higher altitudes, you will find the vegetation gradually transitioning into alpine shrubs and pastures.

To reach your premium accommodation in Dingboche, you will ascend across the Imja Valley. Here, you can enjoy the sights of the extensive stone walls and the spectacular views of Island Peak and Ama Dablam.

Dingboche serves as another crucial acclimatization stop. Today, you can go on an acclimatization hike to a nearby ridge, such as Nangkartshang Peak. The vantage point offers panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the Pheriche valley. This acclimatization hike, which practices the “hike high, sleep low” strategy, is crucial for preventing altitude sickness.

The trek to Lobuche takes you to an even higher altitude. During today’s journey, you will experience a more rugged glacial landscape. You will trail along the Imja Khola Valley to Dughla and pass the Everest Memorial site. The site is a stone monument, honoring climbers who have perished on Everest and surrounding peaks.

Next, you will take on a steep ascent to the top of the ridge, offering awe-inspiring views of Pumori, before eventually reaching Lobuche, following the lateral moraines of the Khumbu Glacier.

Today is the pinnacle of your EBC Luxury trek. Trekking the glacial moraine, you will navigate your way across rocky and uneven terrain toward Everest Base Camp. The trail offers a continuous view of the breathtaking Khumbu Glacier and towering peaks.

After a challenging trek, you will reach the Everest Base Camp. Witness the iconic campsite and soak in the incredible atmosphere before descending to Gorakshep, your overnight destination. Ensure you head to bed early, as you begin the next day's trek early.

The trek to the iconic Kalapatthar Vantage point begins before dawn. With the help of flashlights, you will navigate your way to the 5,550-meter viewpoint. Upon reaching the Kalapatthar summit, you will experience a majestic sunrise view over the Everest massif. Watch the golden rays of the sun paint the Himalayan sky, leaving bystanders in awe.

After the magical spectacle, you will descend to Gorakhshep. Enjoy a hearty breakfast and prepare to retrace your path along the familiar trails to Pheriche.

The journey to Namche marks a significant descent. You will continue losing altitude, making your trek more comfortable and enjoyable. Relish the surrounding views as you head back along the familiar trails across the Imja Khola Valley, Pangboche, and Deboche before reaching your premium lodge in Namche.

Today is your final trekking day in the Himalayas. The final stretch of the hike takes you on ascents and descents along several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, and passes charming villages like Monjo and Phakding. You will enjoy the green landscapes as you head toward Lukla.

Upon reaching the comfortable teahouse/lodge in Lukla, you can celebrate your incredible journey and reflect on your achievement.

Today, you will board the exclusive Helicopter flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. This helicopter transfer allows you to marvel at the majestic Himalayan panorama and get aerial views of the valleys before returning to the bustling city of Kathmandu.

Upon reaching the airport, you will be transferred to your 5-star hotel. You have the rest of the day to yourself. Take the time to explore the nearby destinations or engage in a holistic spa experience.

After the successful completion of the Himalyan adventure, you can explore the cultural sites of Kathmandu. This gives you the opportunity to delve into the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Kathmandu. Today, you will visit the revered Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most revered Hindu temples, the spiritual Boudhanath Stupa, and head to the hill-top Swyambhunath Stupa, also known as the “Monkey Temple”, before heading to the cultural center of Kathmandu Durbar Square.

In the evening, you will join your fellow trekkers to enjoy a special farewell dinner, to celebrate your successful completion of the Nepal Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek.

The Nepal Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek concludes today. Depending on your schedule, you can engage in last-minute souvenir shopping or visit nearby destinations. Our representatives will pick you up from your hotel at least 3 hours before your boarding time.
