Ensure all your necessary travel documents are in place for a smooth and hassle-free border crossing.

While going on high-altitude adventures, acclimatization is crucial for a safe journey. This helps your body cope with the increasing altitude and prevents altitude-related sicknesses. For acclimatization, you will stop at Kerung. Here, you can go on short hikes and observe the local Tibetans to immerse yourself in their culture and lifestyle.

From Kerung, you will drive 6 Hours to Saga. The journey takes you across the Tibetan highlands, crossing dramatic mountain passes. Relish the beautiful Himalayan vistas, and find captivating sights of the turquoise rivers, including the Yarlung Zangpo (Brahmaputra River), and vast plateaus. In the early morning, you will head out to Lake Mansarovar. According to religious beliefs and traditions, you can perform several rituals, like performing puja or hawan. To complete today’s hike, you will need to follow the 13-kilometer stretch of road as you approach closer to the north facade of Mount Kailash.

Today, you will hike across the Dolma La Pass, the highest and most difficult section of the Kailash Kora. Prepare to face the high-altitude challenges and take caution while trekking along the narrow moraine of Dolma La Pass.

To get to the Dolma La Pass, you will wake up before dawn. Upon conquering the challenges along the way, you will be rewarded with a mesmerizing sunrise view of Mount Kailash. From Dolma La Pass, you will then descend toward Zuthulpuk, passing across the Gauri Kunda. Overnight stay at Zuthulpuk.
