Your Luxury Peaks and Palaces Tour begins as you arrive in Nepal. Upon landing in the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will welcome you and transfer you to the Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu. The Dwarika’s Hotel is a heritage hotel that flaunts the ancient Newari arts and architecture.

In the evening, you will meet the Himalayan Asia Tours and Travels team for dinner, officially marking the start of the 14-day Luxury Peaks and Palaces Tour.

Your day begins with a gourmet breakfast at Dwarika’s Hotel before heading to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today, you will take a flight to the Paro International Airport to begin your Bhutan adventures. From the Paro airport, you will take a scenic drive to the charming capital, Thimphu, and check in at the magnificent Six Senses lodge.

Today’s itinerary consists of an immersive tour of the cultural heart of Bhutan. The day begins with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma statue, which overlooks the entire Thimphu Valley. Next, you will head to the spiritual hub of the National Memorial Chorten, followed by a visit to the School of 13 Traditional Arts and Crafts. Here, you can witness skilled artisans at work. Your next stop is the Takin Preserve, where you will find the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin, in its natural habitat. Finally, the day ends with a visit to the Tashichho Dzong.

Your itinerary for today includes a scenic journey to Punakha via the Dochula Pass (3,100 meters). The Dochula Pass provides a spectacular 360-degree panorama of the majestic Himalayas. This is a good spot for photography of the beautiful landscape before descending to the Punakha Valley.

Continue your journey, relishing the lush subtropical vegetation of Punakha toward the Six Senses in Punakha, also known as the “Flying Farmhouse.”

This morning, you will explore Punakha before departing for Paro. The day begins with an excursion to Bhutan’s architectural marvel of the Punakha Dzong. This beautiful fortress is strategically located at the confluence of the rivers Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu. After spending some time, relishing the awe-inspiring marvel, you hike across one of Bhutan’s longest suspension bridges before breaking for lunch.

Next, you will board your private vehicle and head to the Paro Valley. You will find accommodation amid the historic stone ruins in the Six Senses Paro.

Today, you will hike to the spiritual center of the iconic Taktsang Monastery, or the Tiger’s Nest. This monastery, miraculously clinging to a granite cliff face 900 meters above the Paro valley, is accessible through a moderate walk through the beautiful pine forest. Along the way, you will find colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind.

Though short, you will enjoy a sense of accomplishment and profound tranquility upon reaching the monastery. In the evening, you can celebrate your achievement with a relaxing dinner or a hot stone spa experience at the Six Senses lodge.

After your gourmet breakfast at the Six Senses, you will head to the Paro airport to board your flight back to Kathmandu. The flight takes you on a scenic journey along the mighty Himalayan stretch, giving an awe-inspiring view of Mount Everest’s north face.

Upon landing in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the serene Dwarika’s Hotel. You have the rest of the day to yourself. You can take the time to relax and reflect on your Bhutanese adventure, enjoying the magnificent hotel ambiance.

The day begins with a short but scenic flight to the lake city of Pokhara. Today, you will explore the natural wonders, including the roaring Devi’s Fall and the sacred Gupteswor Cave. You will also visit the International Mountain Museum for deep insights into mountaineering, gear and equipment, and the unique lifestyle in the high-altitude regions of Nepal.

After an immersive exploration, you will head to the Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge, known for its panoramic view of the Annapurna range.

Today, you have the time to relax and unwind in one of Nepal’s most premium lodges. You will wake up to the sight of the awe-inspiring Annapurna range and enjoy a gourmet breakfast. There are plenty of activities to do in Tiger Mountain Lodge. You can take a dip in the lodge’s infinity pool, join a guided bird-watching tour, or simply relax at your private balcony, enjoying the dynamic landscape.

After a well-deserved leisurely day in Pokhara, you will continue with your journey as you head to the dense jungles of Chitwan National Park. Your flight from Pokhara to Bharatpur allows you to experience a dramatic shift in landscapes from high peaks to lush subtropical jungle. Upon landing in Bharatpur, you will take a drive to the Taj Meghauli Serai, at the banks of the Rapti River. This luxury hotel blends the experience of the wilderness with premium luxury.

A full day of thrills and jungle adventure awaits in Chitwan National Park. You will join an expert nature guide as you explore the grasslands and the dense forests on a jeep safari. This is a historic city square with a collection of ancient royal palaces, courtyards, and intricate architecture showcasing the pinnacle of Newari artistry.
